Mr. Terelmes is a Certified Public Accountant currently practicing and licensed in the State of Connecticut.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Terelmes keeps current with the trends and needs in accounting as required by new legislation and current developments.
Experience
Mr. Terelmes brings much experience with him to the firm. For four years upon completion of college, he worked for an international accounting firm as a staff accountant. His responsibility included field work for various small business accounts. For the next eleven years he was the controller and treasurer of a publicly owned corporation. At the same time he was the treasurer of both a Connecticut and Massachusetts trade association.
In 1981, Mr. Terelmes resigned his corporate position and established his own accounting firm, where he continues to the present. He has devoted his practice to personal income taxes and a variety of small business accounts. He has added to these specialties church accounting and tax, non-profit tax and financial reporting and accounting system installation and review.
